Goodyear Middle School offers a traditional curruculum. In addition, all students receive two periods of math and language arts daily. High school credit is offered for Algebra I. Accelerated courses are offered in Language Arts, and all math classes focus on algebra and geometry. Since the 2001 - 2002 school year, Goodyear has sponsored full-time services of the Gifted and Talented Program. Foreign Languages (Spanish and French) are offered for all three grade levels.
